When it comes to content, most people use AI wrong.
Just try asking ChatGPT to give you viral content ideas and they will be nothing short of vanilla.
But if you already have a winning format you can replicate, AI will never run out of steam.
It will generate nearly unlimited variations for you to riff on—and keep creating consistently viral content.
Here’s what I mean by that.
In my previous posts, I mentioned how unlikely combinations can drive performance for viral videos.
Making Mexican or Vietnamese food in your cooking reels? Sure.
But sour patch tacos? Pandan waffles? We’re here for the drama.
So was our client, Dean Sheremet’s audience.

Genre mashups are also popular with videographers— Cheetos as a perfume commercial, anyone?

And musicians who play bar codes on electric guitars to see whether a brand will “riff.”

So whether you need a list of cuisines, dishes, brands, or genres, ChatGPT will have it—and can even combine them for you.
Now, what about other formats like Two Characters, One Light Bulb? The point here isn’t as much to come up with your characters but that key light bulb moment your video centers around.

You can generate ideas for the biggest misconceptions in your industry, unknown hacks, or common mistakes.
In other words, that big idea your reel wouldn’t work without.
Just remember to nail your winning content format first—its pace, story arc, frames, and the like—before you start riffing on it.
