Does your video have a why?
Having a purpose behind your video is key. To make your audience truly care, provide them with a compelling reason which sets up a story.
For instance, this woman's reasoning behind the request for a specific dish creates a story, offering a glimpse into her character and state of mind. Without the explanation behind her choice, the video would simply be a collection of items. But with the “why,” each step in the video, from food preparation to plating, boxing, and the final presentation, draws us into the stranger's experience. Subsequent follow-up questions by the creator provide further depth, unveiling more about the stranger.
Creating viral video content is about storytelling, and stories fall apart without a why This approach can take simple visuals and turns them into stories that really hit home, resonating with viewers on a personal level. Keep in mind, a video with a clear and engaging "why" isn't just going to grab attention - it's going hold it too.
